Swimwear Favourites Featuring Asos

There are so many different types of swimwear on the market; from one-pieces to metallic. As Summer is upon us and we are all jetting off on holidays I thought it would be perfect time to just talk through what swimwear I love. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know I have an unhealthy obsession with ASOS, which is where I have found all of the gorgeous pieces!

Asos have an amazing range of swimwear. They cater for all different shapes and sizes plus have so many different colours too! It is the first place that I will look when searching for swimwear for the holiday season.

I found 12 different types of swimwear from ASOS that I just had to share with you. I absolutely love all them all and very much wish I was going on holiday for the whole of summer!

One Piece - There are so many different pattens and variety when it comes to the one piece. I love these three, the cut out detailing and the gorgeous prints. To me a complete must have for the holidays. Love!!

High Waisted Bikini - You will always find me in an high waisted bikini on holiday. I love how flattering they are on all body types. The detailing and colours on these three are just beautiful.

Metallic - They have been very where lately on sunglasses, bags nail polish and now they have reach the swimwear. If you want to make a statement with your swimwear then metallic is perfect for that. As much as I love how gorgeous they are I don't know if I could pull it off!

The Standard Bikini - I love how easy these are while on holiday, you can mix and match with colours and styles: ASOS allows you to do this so easily! Perfect if you aren't talking a lot with you but what to mix it up.

Summer Accessories

As summer is fully underway and we are all off on our summer holidays. I thought I would just share with you a few summer holiday accessorise that I will be taking away with me for sure.

Staring with floral crowns, I have been talking about floral crowns over the last couple of months. Floral crowns dresses up an outfit and is the perfect match with beachy waves. They look gorgeous whether you are off to the festivals this summer or away on a city break. I love them!!

Tan sandals, theres have been a must have for me for years. They look gorgeous with a tan, a pair of jeans or even a summer dress. I believe they should be in everyone wardrobe and I just can't get enough of them this year!

Sunglasses, this might be a bit of an obvious one being summer. I honestly can't get enough of the different colours leans, shapes, colours that are around this season. I normally stick to a very boring sunglass but lately I have been loving the rounded detailing sunglasses!

Summer reading. If you personally know me then you will know that I'm not really one to pick up and book. However this is something that I do want to change, I treated myself to a few books to take away on holiday with me.

Lazy Sunday

If you are from the UK then you will know that it was Fathers Day yesterday. To celebrate Fathers Day and Dads Birthday we had a good old family BBQ which contained a lot of tapas, burgers, wine, and cake! Half way through the afternoon we got all the old photo albums out and had a good laugh at some lovely 80's hair and how we used to dress as little children in the 90's. This to me was my favourite part of the day! Once all the food had been eaten we got out dads birthday cake - which was shaped as a sheep!

To end the evening we all sat around the firebowl and just chilled for the rest of the evening. Below are just a few photos that sum up the day for me, I hope you enjoy!

My 'Don't Have Much Time' Morning Routine

My morning routine very much changes depending on what I have planned and how much time I have. Today I thought I would share with you my 'don't have much time' morning routine as lets be honest we really don't have time for the full morning routine that we would very much like to do.

I normally have a alarm to wake me and after hitting the snooze about 4 times and spending way to much time scrolling through social media I finally get out of bed! I always have my outfit for the next day laid out on the chair, this is something I have done since being at school and its a complete time saver in the mornings!

Getting way to distracted!!!

When I don't have a lot of time I will head to the bathroom and do my skin routine, brush teeth and spray a lot of dry shampoo into my hair! Before putting my hair up in a high bun.

I will return into my room and just apply a minimal amount of make up which normally consists of a good coverage foundation, a bit of bronzer and blusher and finishing of with a touch of eyeliner and mascara, not forgetting any lip balm I have within reach.

Whether I'm rushing out the door for college or work, I do try and eat breakfast before I go but something I just ran out of time (to busy being on social media) i'll then just pop in my car and of I go to start my day.

Todays Outfits - Top H&M Trousers Topshop

I hope you enjoyed this slight different morning routine, I would love to know what your 'real' ones are like?

The Shoe Edit

There are some gorgeous shoes around for this season. Summer is pretty much the only season that I go a tad obsessed with sandals. There are some gorgeous pairs around. I love getting mine from New Look, Asos and Topshop however I have spied some in Office which I may get for holiday!

These gorgeous pale blue sandals from Asos they are  to die for. I think they will look gorgeous with an all white outfit for either day or night! Love!!

New Look is always my first place for picking out sandals for the summer. They always have a gorgeous range from plain day to day, embellished, beaded, bright colours for the evenings. Again I think these will be lovely for day through to the evening. A holiday must!!

I haven't been to sure of the lace up sandal trend this year. However I was completely converted when  i saw these beauts in Topshop. I fell in love with the style and also the gold detailing on the heel! I have been wearing these with printed trousers and summer dresses!

What shoes are you loving for the Summer?

Protecting Our Skin

With Summer in the air, i have done a completely re-freah from my wardrobe to my skin care. I am always changing my skin routine slightly with every season as i do believe that your skin does change with each season and lets be honest we wouldn't be walking around in a think knitted jumper in the middle of summer so why should your skin be the same.

Not only should we let our skin breathe during the warmer months, it still need to be protected. This is something that i will hold my hands up and say i never remember to add an SPF into my skin routine and yes a lot of skin care brands are adding SPF into the products but i do believe we should be using an 30+ factors on our faces. There are loads of skin care brands that also do a SPF or you can just buy a cheaper one in your local boots.

I have been hunting high and low to find some good SPF products that i could share with you today. As this is something i feel so strongly about, everyone should be wearing SPF as if you don't your skin is going to start showing first signs of ageing and sun damage. Let me honest no one wants that!! It is so easy to just pop and SPF into your everyday skin routine, and not just using it if its a bit sunny outside. As there are always sun rays around even if its raining and cloudy!

Below are just a few that I've found and loved.

Vichy Ideal Soleil Velvety Face Cream SPF 50 £14.50

Claris Sun Care Milk-Lotion Spray UVA UVB 50 £19.50
Clinique Face Cream SPF 40 £18.00

All these sun protections can be used for all skin types even sensitive. So there is no excuse this summer!

Start Each Day With A Positive Though

How many of us wake up and either moan about the weather, the time, what we have planned for the day?! From this how many of us carry on the negative thoughts for the rest of the day and in the evening moan about how we had such a bad day. Well maybe we could change that. Don't get me wrong I am completely guilty of this, i may even be the worse for it!

What do you think would happen if we all woke up with a positive thought and how this would effect our outcome of the day. Maybe we would all be a little bit happier maybe we would all get a lot more done with our days, who really knows.

What I do know is a positive mind will lead to a positive day and from this could bring positive opportunities.

So next time we all wake up, and its raining or its too early just think of a small positive that may change your day.
