Everyday Base

I have always loved a full coverage look with my foundation, I love the flawless look. My foundation is something I will take my time with you will be the longest part of my routine. I have tried so many foundation both high end and drug store the same with concealer and I finally think I have my base down to a 'T' I love how gorgeous my skin looks with these products and of course I wanted to share these products with you. Surprising all of these products are drug store - bonus!!

Primer - Instablur The Body Shop
Concealer - Revlon Colourstay Concealer
Foundation - Revlon Colourstay Foundation
Powder - Rimmel Stay Matte

Instablur primer has changed my life completely, the product glides on so lovely and has a slight velvety feel to it and really does blur out any imperfections. Once i've applied this I then go ahead with concealer on any spots, redness, imperfections and just blend it in with the Real Techniques Buffing brush. I am loving using a flat top brush to applaud and blend it all in. After I blend the concealer I dot the foundation around all over my face and go in with the same brush to just blend that. Once that is all blended in I will normally with any foundation left on the back of my hand and just re-apply in any areas that may need a little bit more coverage. To finish I will just go ahead a powder focusing under my eyes and any problem areas.

I love how these products give such a gorgeous flawless look and it doesn't feel cakey at all! I would love to know what your everyday base is?

Weekend Away Make Up Essentials

I love a good weekend away, I love the whole idea of a mini break. Spending just a little bit of time being on holiday without traveling miles and miles and basically just having a good old relax. However I am the worst for packing for a weekend away i either over pack and end up turning up with a massive suitcase or under packing and spending most of my time in boots stocking up on supplies.

After a couple of tries and errors, I think I have finally got my make up essentials down to a T - well for now anyways - so I thought I would share with you what I take and maybe we can all talk about what each other take. As I am super nosy and love to know what others take in there make up bag.

I have completely fallen in love with the Naked Run palette and this is the perfect thing to take away with you for a little weekend away with it contain mascara, eyeliner, lipgloss, 5 eye shadows, bronzer, blusher and a highligher!!!!

Being an over packer the palette just isn't enough and I have to take doubles of everything just in case!

Pastel Trend Inspiration

I love Pinterest, i can find myself escaping into the world of photography and inspiration. Inspiration for outfit ideas, recipes to little cute house ideas and when inspiration is combined with one of my favourites trend - Pastels i can be searching and looking for hours.

I love the pastels, i love how feminine and floating and girlie it looks. I love how you can always add a little to each and every season. From a pastel mint coat in the winter to a grouse dusty pink midi dress in the summer. This trend will always be a big part in my wardrobe and life!!

As Spring is around the corner, i would to share with you some of my favourite pastel inspiration from Pinterest. (all these photos are from Pinterest)
