New In | The Body Shop Masks

Over the last month or so there has been some new skin care products floating their way through social media. Everywhere you turn you see even more press about these, the publicity and hype around these products have been insane. Which of course mean i just had to get my hands on a couple.

The new Body Shop masks.

I have few staples in my beauty collection from the body shop that are always a die hard product, I always tend to re-buy rather then explore their new ranges and delve into products I wouldn't normally use. That all changed when I was scrolling through Instagram and came across there new range of masks.

These masks are all individually developed from traditions, 100% vegetarian and use the finest ingredients. I must say they smell so fresh and divine, the only thing I would be concerned about it how long they last as the ingredients are so pure and clean. Applying them and having them on the skin make me feel like i was in a spa, the quality of ingredients and the time that has gone into each mask can really be seen.

I picked up two from the collection of 5, the Chinese Ginseng & Rice and Charcoal Mask. others in the collection are, Ethiopian Honey, Amazonian Acai and British Rose.

Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask

This mask smells incredible, and feels gorgeous on the skin. The mask is inspired by Chinese traditions containing Ginseng, Rice and Sesame Seed which brightens, evens and revitalises giving the skin an intense treatment. This mask is brilliant for removing dullness and unevenness, the skin appears brighter, smoother with the pores reducing appearing smaller.

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

The mask is inspired by Ayurvedic tradition containing Bamboo, Tea Tree, Green Tea. These ingredients help to dry out impurities and excess oil. Antioxidants and Catechin help to exfoliate, also help the skin to protect itself from the environment. This mask is perfect for a deep cleanse releasing impurities and toxins therefore detoxifying helping the skin to become smoother with a radiant glow.

I love these new masks, they are super easy to apply to the face and to remove as well. I will be purchasing the other three as they are just perfect staple product for everyone to have in there beauty draw. At retailing at £15, I think they are worth the money for sure baring in mind the quality of the ingredients used.

Have you tried any of the Masks?

My Rainy Day | Unwind Routie

The weather has been rubbish over the last couple of days, honestly I love the colder weather, rainy days and colder evenings. Its the time that I love to have little pamper, take some time out for myself. Today I thought I would share with you how I like to unwind, and share with you some new product I've recently come across too.

For me the first thing that I just have to do is, take of my face. This not only makes me take a sigh of relief but allows me to really breathe and relax. When it comes to taking my make up off during the week, I like an easy option so I've been loving miceller water, however for a unwind nothing beats a good double cleanse! For which, The Body Shop Cleansing Balm & Decleor Aroma Cleanse 3in1 Hydro-radience smoothing moose are perfect. Both of these together help to remove all impurities and make up, leaving my skin feeling very clean and fresh. I will then tone with the ESPA Floral Hydrating Toner.

Once I've removed all my make up, I will apply a face mask and also a hair mask. There is nothing better then having a mask on whether its for your hair or skin. They are the perfect pick me up/unwind must have!!

For my hair I've been using the Perry & Reed Wonder Overnight Recovery. I received this in a magazine and I love it. This mask is applied to dry hair and within a few minutes its completely gone!! Perfect for a sleep in hair mask. I will be purchasing the full size once, a complete must have!

I recently purchased a few of the Body Shop Face Masks, so of course this was the perfect opportunity to try one out. I have been having a few little blemishes so I was leaning toward the Himalayan Charcoal Mask. This mask is designed to detox and purify leaving the skin with a gorgeous glow. This mask does not disappoint!!

When I've applied both masks, this is my chance to take some time out, make my self a green tea and flick through some magazines in a very cosy pair of pjs! Nothing is better then putting your phone down, turning away from social media for the evening or just a couple of hours. It really allows myself to reflect on the day and think about what I would love to achieve within the up and coming months.

Once my face has harden so much that I cant move it. Its time to take it off and apply as much nourishment and hydration possible. For me I'm loving using the Decleor Neroli Oil, Clarins Eye Contour Balm, Elemis Hydra-Nourish and for lips of course my Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. These four products really help hydrate my skin after a face mask and helps with the regeneration of your skin while sleeping.

Nothing beats a little pamper and unwind after a rainy day.

Recent Buys | Autumn

My boyfriend and I recently had a little trip to Windsor, neither of us had ever been before, I had always wanted to visit the castle so this gave us a perfect opportunity. Of course once we had finished wondering the little side streets, I just had to do a little bit of shopping.

Over the last couple of weeks I've been finding the shops a little hard to wonder around and finding some nice bits as a lot of the shops have one side full of summer clothing and the other jumpers and knit wear -all to confusing for me. However when I was wondering around Windsor it didn't feel like this so of course I picked up just a few little items.

As always The Body Shop was the first stop for me and as I left my boyfriend outside ( as he doesn't like coming in the shops with me - doesn't anyone else partner do this?) I wondered in. Being the beauty girl I am, I went in wanting a body scrub and came out with few more items.

First items I picked up, were there new face masks. This has been all over social media and have a lot of publicity around them, so of course theses were a must for me. I am going to do a review on them which i'll go into more detail about at a later stage. The ones i picked up are Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask and Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask. The last few items I needed, Grapefruit scrub and body butter ( which is my favourite scent )

I also popped into Toyshop. I am loving them at the moment, they have some gorgeous pieces in. A few of the items I was after they didn't have in my size (bank account did a little sigh) however I picked up two jumpers.

First is a gorgeous grey, I love grey jumpers. I think they look gorgeous on and can be paired with anything. A perfect Autumn staple piece. Secondly another jumper, this one is a pink ribbed, very slouchy and comfy - which for me is a must with a jumper. They had some really gorgeous lovely pieces in and I'm sure there will be another Topshop haul in the coming months.

One final item, I didn't purchase this in Windosr but it is too gorgeous to leave out. I change my bags as each season change ( doesn't anyone see do this) of course I was after the perfect autumn/ winter bag. My warbdore contains a lot of navy, white, black and mustard as it gets colder so i needed a bag that would compliment each item well. I came across this gorgeous dark tan tote from Accessories. The detailing on this bag is to die for and I knew I just had to have it.

Just a few little times I've picked up recently!

Much Love
