Pretty Honest & IT

Last year  i feel in love with reading. The whole idea of being someone else in a different world really applied to me. After reading #Girlboss and getting a lot of recommendation on social media, I thought I would purchase two books that are always circling the blogger world and are just too good to not buy. Alexa Chung IT and Sali Hughes Pretty Honest. 

I am super excited to read both theses books and see what they are all about. I feel like these books will be the ones to stay in my handbag and get pulled out when I find a cute little coffee shop. 

Have you brought any new books lately, I would love to grow my collection even more.

Body Shop British Rose Collection Launch Event

At the beginning of the month, I kinda got invited to attend an event happening at The Body Shop. The event was to celebrate the launch of their new British Rose range. The range includes item from body products to a make up palette. 

We were greeted with friendly staff, a glass of champagne and chocolates. We had a chance to wonder around the shop, - there was about a handful of people attending so you really got the chance to have a proper look at all the gorgeous products that The Body Shop sell. Shortly after we had a talk from one of the ladies, talking about the new collection. I learnt that all the rose petals that go into this collection our organic and are grown in UK fields. 

Once the talk was over; we had the chance to have a hand massage, a skin consultation, and make up consultation. Which were all lovely and the ladies carrying these out were really friendly and helpful.

When the evening came to the end we all got gifted a few goodies, as well as these I also brought a few items myself. 

gifted items: strawberry shower gel, pink grapefruit body butter and vitamin E overnight serum.

Items I brought: Camomile cleansing butter, cherry blossom body mist, British rose shower gels,  British rose make up palette, lip& check tint & nail polish.

Overall mum and I had a lovely evening, so thank you Body Shop for the evening and the event.

Spa Day at Aqua Sauna

I had completely forgotten about this post, so I thought I would upload it anyway! 

A month ago mum and I went on a lovely spa day at the Aqua Sauna at Centre Parcs. 

The day consisted of a lot of eating, drinking proseco, relaxing in steam rooms and having three gorgeous treatments. 

We chose to do the Ultimate Day, this included lunch, two and a half hours of treatment ( Back,neck and shoulder, Elemis Visible Brilliance Facial and a Pedicure) use of there World of Spa. 

It was a gorgeous relaxing day and I would highly recommend giving on of the Centre Parcs spa ago, do take a lot at just some of the pictures i took through the day - we were there from 9am till about 7pm!!

January Favourites

Its that time again!!! 

First favourites of 2016!! 

Make up favourites haven't really changed for me over the last couple of months, i'm still loving Estee Lauder Double Wear, Nars Sheer Glow and benefits Hoola - on a side note I do want to try a new foundation so any suggestion?! 

Skin care and bath products: i have been loving lush for bath bombs and also Ted Baker Bubble Bath. Both are just perfect for a relaxing evening. 

Skin care for me has changed in the last couple of months, I have been using a lot of Elemis and Clarins. My skin has been super annoying, a lot of breakouts and oiliness. I have been really religious with I've products I've been using and from that I have noticed a differences - another side note I am going to do an updated skin care, in which i'll go into more detail about products and what exactly I use. 

Fashion favourites: have to be oversized jumpers and scarfs. I can not get enough of them. The weather has differently got a lot colder in the last couple of weeks so they are just perfect for laying with and under coats. 

To finish, random favourites. Board games have been a massive must for me, we have had a few family games. Dark nails have also been a favourite, I love the dark purples and navy. 

PRETTY LITTLE LIERS!!! 
Of course this would be in, I am so so happy that its back on Netflix after a break of 5 months. I'm loving it so far.
