Smock floaty dresses have been my 'must have' for the hot humid weather we have had in England over the last month or so. I thought I'd show you my favourite ones, all these look gorgeous with stroppy sandals, and big sunglasses!

River Island Sale Gems

I love a sale and a bargain, but never have the patience to go through all the clothes in the shops plus I never find what I'm looking for compared to online sale shopping. This time didn't let me down either as I found two gorgeous pieces in the River Island sale, the things that amazed me about these pieces 1)the price and 2) just how gorgeous they were to be in the sale. Im not too sure weather they will still be in the sale or not but I just had to share with you my sale gems. 

Light Pink Jacquard Pleated Mini Skirt. I fell in love with this piece after buying the grey floral skirt version of this, so when I saw this in the sale I just had to buy it. This skirt also has a a blazer which matches, however this was sold out in my size. The skirt was £10 (reduced from £25) 

Dark Green Embellished Playsuit is perfect for the transformation from day to night and for only £10 you can't really go wrong (reduced from £25)

Woods, Wet Dogs and A Farm

Woods, wet dog and a farm nothing better on a hot summer day. 

Theses woods mean a lot to me as this is where we used to come a lot when we were three little carefree children and of course to wonder around the 100 Aker Wood just too see a glance of Winnie the Pooh and his friends (still to this day I haven't see him) When mum told us that we were going back for a cute family day out I was rather excited. 

The whole place as a really lovely atmosphere and the view over the lake is just stunning with the sailing boats on one side and the woods on the other. It was full off little children hoping to catch a glance of Winnie The Pooh, running around in a little bubble of imagination and fantasy - I miss being little.

Of course with the three of us still believing we are little again we just had to drag mum around the farm, this was so different to how I remember it. It is must bigger now and you are also able to feed the animals which to me is always the best bit - also being able to go onto an old fashioned tractor!! 

We finished our lovely day out with a picnic and a walk around the lake. I had such a lovely time and I hope you can see just how much I love it here through the pictures that are below. I would love to know what your favourite  places are so comment below.

My Summer Hairstyles

I love having my hair down during the summer months, floating in the mid summer breeze as I am running through a hay field however the reality is very different - sweaty, sticky and not very glamours. When it comes to summer I love soft floaty curls and french plaits, this gives such a gorgeous romantic soft touch to your look that does look gorgeous anywhere from a chilled summer evening to an summer wedding. Baring this in mind I am always trying to find new and cute ways to style my hair when it does just get that bit too hot. 

These styles are very easy to recreate, using second day washed hair will just give your hair a bit of grit and hold however if you have freshly washed hair just spray some texturing sprays or even dry shampoo. I used bobby pins, hair bands, clear hair bands and a tad of hairspray to achieve theses looks.
